The Masked Singer baked up a big surprise when it came to who was going home. The singing competition’s Jan. 14 episode unmasked a staggering three celebrities, picking up where last week’s premiere left off with the reveal of The Croissants. The masked couple-whose black and white striped costumes included a ball and chain-had the judges pondering which stars were under the mask when they took the stage to sing “Jailhouse Rock” on last week’s episode. Among the clues for the duo? “They were upper crust socialites living at the top, and then it all came crumbling down.” “It’s true,” the Male Croissant said during their pre-recording video. “Life was good and we were inseparable, until we were torn apart.” The Female Croissant added, “That’s right.
