Theagaraya College celebrates 75 years - The Hindu

The celebrations marking 75 years of academic service (1950-2025) of Sir Theagaraya College, located at Old Washermenpet were held on Saturday at the College Auditorium. Justice V. Ramasubramanian, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, and Justice K.P. Sivasubramaniam, former Judge of the Madras High Court, participated in the celebrations and unveiled a commemorative pillar symbolising seventy-five years of service. A Photo and Archival Exhibition titled “Through the Lens of Legacy: Sir Pitty Theagaraya Chettiar and the Making of an Institution” was inaugurated by them.
