To mark Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s birthday as “rationalism day”, three-day national science convention will be held in Yadgir from Sunday till December 30. It is the fifth convention being held to mark the day. According to a release by the Karnataka Rajya Vaijnanika Samshodhana Parishat, which is organising the programme, the Department of Science and Technology and Manava Bandhutva Vedike are partnering with the organisation to hold the event. “The aim of the event is to fight superstition and create awareness about rationalism,” said Hulikal Nataraj who heads the Parishat.
