Vaibhav Sooryavanshi opened the innings for Bihar in their first match of the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy Plate Group and scored 190 runs from just 84 balls. During his stay at the crease for the Sakibul Gani-led side, the 14-year-old slammed 16 fours and 15 sixes and also entered his name in the history books by becoming the first men’s cricketer in the world to score hundreds in both List A and T20 cricket before turning 15. The cricketer from Samastipur, who is the youngest cricketer in the world to score a century in IPL and T20s, on Thursday also became the youngest to score a hundred in men’s List A cricket.
