The AirPods Pro have always excelled where sound quality is concerned, and Apple has gone to great lengths to ensure this third-generation is the best-sounding yet. The tech giant even has its own anechoic chamber where it tunes its headphones, to ensure sound quality is as good as can be. Our review says, “you can expect an expansive, exuberant soundstage that allows bass registers ample space to rumble with regimented clout” - again, I have to agree. Bass performance is a definite step up over their predecessor, and even with Spatial Audio switched off, I still feel the Pro 3s deliver a 3D-like sound field, with every element of a track given its place to shine.
