Innovative Artists Promotes Megan Cox To Agent

EXCLUSIVE: Innovative Artists Entertainment has promoted Megan Cox to agent in the comedy department. With Innovative since 2022, Cox started out in the New York office, working in the mailroom concurrent to completing her undergraduate degree. She later moved to the Los Angeles office to serve as the company’s Social Media Coordinator, working across all departments at the agency. Cox transitioned into comedy in January 2024 where she worked under comedy agent Jenny Kim and department head Tamra Goins. She was also a participant in Innovative’s Agent Trainee Program. News of the promotion at Innovative comes during a period of growth in its comedy department, led by Tamra Goins. Under Goins’ leadership, the department recently had clients Ryan Sickler, Comedian CP, and Chinedu Unaka named to the Los Angeles Times’ Best Comedy Specials of 2025, client Tacarra Williams named as a Variety Comic to Watch, and clients Ray Lau and Comedian CP named to Vulture’s The Comedians You Should and Will Know of 2025. Additionally, client David Alan Grier was awarded the Vanguard Award at the Critics Choice Awards Celebration of Black Cinema and Television and client George Wallace received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival.
