Watch wheelchair-bound Putin soldier reveal he’s being sent to the front: ‘What good’s a Khalishnikov if I can’t walk?’

THIS is the tragic moment a wheelchair-bound Russian soldier reveals he’s being sent to the front line by Putin. Footage shows the man, who appears to be from the 59th tank regiment, dressed in combat gear inside a make shift hut. He pleads: “We are just sick, they don’t want to treat us. They’ve decided to kill us all at once. “They’re sending us off to the front now.” The camera then pans to a stash of weapons, magazines and camouflage suits. The soldier adds: “What good are these Khalishnikov’s if we can’t walk?” Read More World News All the soldiers with him are impaired, he says, including the camera man who’s missing three fingers from his left hand. Regional governor, Oleg Synegubov, confirmed the death toll in a post on Telegram, adding that at least six others were wounded. One of the buildings that was severely damaged was a Nova Poshta depot - Ukraine’s largest private delivery company. Rescuers pulled 30 people to safety, including two from under rubble, the state emergency service said in a statement. A second Russian strike in the heart of Kharkiv - this time caused by a long-range drone - pummelled a medical facility for children, causing a fire. Overnight strikes hit other regions as well, including the southern city of Odessa, on the Black Sea. But it’s not just Russian soldiers battling the elements. The Kremlin has pummelled Ukraine with daily drone and missile barrages in recent months, targeting energy infrastructure and cutting power in the frigid height of winter. Condemnation from Ukraine’s allies swiftly followed, including from Ambassador James Kariuki, UK ChargĂ© d’Affaires to the UN. He told...
