Christmas Gift Or Ultimate Troll? Man Gets Brick As ‘Secret Santa’ Gift In Office - ‘Still Better Than Dairy Milk’ An video captured the moment a neatly wrapped gift unwraps not joy, but a brick tucked inside. Christmas is supposed to be about surprises, joy and a little bit of magic. But an Instagram reel titled “Christmas Part 1" has gone viral for delivering something very different: a lesson in how strange the internet and people can be. The reel opens with a man holding what appears to be a wrapped Christmas present, complete with festive gift paper and a handwritten label addressed to one Piyush Ranjan. At first glance, it looks like any other holiday gift reveal. But the moment quickly takes an unexpected turn when the man points out that a small portion of the wrapping paper is torn. Recommended Stories Peeking through the tear is something no one expects to see during a Christmas unboxing: a red brick. Visibly amused and mildly baffled, the man remarks that instead of a gift, someone has gone out of their way to pack a piece of brick and wrap it like a legitimate present. His reaction captures the absurdity of the moment as he notes, almost in disbelief, that “these kinds of people also exist." Watch the reel here: The clip struck a chord online with some users responding with dark and tongue-in-cheek humour. Couple of users jokingly suggested that the brick should be used on the very person who gifted it. “Hit him on the head with it," wrote one user, while another said, “Use the same brick on the one who gave it." One sarcastically commented that the brick was meant to be a gift for “hitting the manager." Similar Delivery Shocks In The Past The brick-filled Christmas gift is far from an isolated incident. Last year, a Flipkart customer from Ghaziabad who ordered a smartphone worth Rs 22,000 was stunned when he opened the same-day delivery package to find neatly placed stones instead of the device. In another bizarre case, a woman in Chandigarh ordered five kilograms of paneer online, only to discover a large stone inside later. Initially, after receiving the package, she put it into the refrigerator. The truth came out only later, when she tried to cut the paneer before cooking and discovered the stone inside.
