Tylor Chase's Ned's Declassified Co-Star Takes Him To Lunch & Gets Him A Hotel Room After Viral Homeless Video
Daniel Curtis Lee is helping out his old pal for the holidays. In case you didn’t hear the news, Nickelodeon star Tylor Chase - AKA Martin Qwerly on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide - has been down on his luck. In a viral video, he was spotted by fans who recognized him, and it was revealed he was homeless , living on the streets of Riverside, California. So sad! You can see the video (below): @ricecrackerspov This is so sad ran into the boy that used to play on Nickelodeon I remember watching him as a kid. If anyone wants to donate there’s a Gofund me online #pov #vlog #fyp #solo #dayinmylife Back in September, fans tried to create a GoFundMe for him to help him get back on his feet, but it was deleted after the former actor’s mom made a statement. She said he didn’t need money, he needed medical attention, but kept refusing it. It’s at this point Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss offered Tylor a place to stay and an opportunity to enroll in rehabilitation... But the 36-year-old reportedly refused. This isn’t stopping the world from reaching out to help, though. Tylor’s old friend Daniel, who played alongside him as the lovable Cookie in the series, went to see him on Tuesday. In a new Instagram post, the two Ned’s Declassified stars are seen grabbing some pizza before Daniel eventually helps Tylor get settled into a motel room. In the video, the Zeke and Luther alum explained he originally thought Tylor did enroll in the rehab program, but he backed out. So he decided to go hang out with his old buddy instead: “Today I went to have pizza with [Tylor].” In the video, Daniel and Tylor hit up a local Blaze Pizza and catch up. He even calls Devon Werkheiser and lets Tylor speak to him: “I also got to let him chat with his old friend Devon Werkheiser. My boy Neddy!” How sweet! Further in the video, Daniel says the reason they struggled to get Tylor to rehab was because he didn’t want to get in the car. But “he trusted an old friend” and got in the car with Daniel, who then took him to get a hotel room. With not only the holidays, but the California rainstorms on their way, he wanted to make sure Tylor had a place to stay cozy and dry. I believe in you, bro.” See the video (below): View this post on Instagram Aww... In the comments, fans flooded Daniel with positive and hopeful messages for both him and Tylor,...
