TPCC general secretary targets Harish Rao over Kaleshwaram, water disputes

HYDERABAD Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) general secretary Chanagani Dayakar targeted BRS MLA and former Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao, alleging corruption, failure to protect Telangana’s interests, and silence on key issues related to water sharing and governance. Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, Mr. Dayakar questioned why Harish Rao had not responded to the allegations levelled by MLC K. Kavitha regarding corruption and irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project. “If Harish Rao has morals, why is he silent on Kavitha’s accusations?” he asked. He alleged that BRS leaders, K.T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao, were competing to insult Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, while the party’s rule had centred on building family assets rather than public welfare.
