How Savannah Chrisley Guessed Todd & Julie Were on Masked Singer

Savannah Chrisley had a hunch her parents were rising to the occasion. The Chrisleys: Back to Reality star almost immediately sussed out that her parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were undercover on season 14 of long before The Masked Singer their identities was revealed as The Croissants on the show’s Jan. 14 episode. “We were sitting in our trailer on the lot,” Todd recalled to E! News during an exclusive interview alongside his wife, “and Savannah messages.” “She goes, ‘Dad, are you doing The Masked Singer ?’ And I went back, I said, ‘What?’” the 56-year-old continued. “So she knew when I said, ‘What?’ that she was gonna have to confront me.” Savannah- who herself appeared on the reality series in 2024 -immediately called her dad, telling him to “stop with the s--t” as she’d gotten an inside tip. “She said, ‘Are you doing The Masked Singer ?’ And I said, ‘Why are you asking me that?’” Todd recounted. "She said, ‘Because someone there on the lot just sent me a text and said they got to meet you and mom, that y'all were so lovely and that you're there on the lot right now filming. And that's the lot from Masked Singer .’” The reality star kept reiterating to his daughter that he couldn’t “talk about this,” despite the fact that he, Julie and their family tell “each other everything.” But even before they were revealed, the couple’s 29-year-old son Chase Chrisley also wondered if his parents might be the ones singing “Jailhouse Rock.” “[He] messaged me right when this season started,” Todd shared, “and he goes, ‘Why are people saying that you and mom are doing Masked Singer ?'” Julie-who also shares son Grayson , 19, and adopted daughter Chloe , 13, with Todd-added, “My mother-in-law called me, and she's like, ‘My friend just called and said she thinks you guys are on The Masked Singer . She thinks it's you. Is it you?’” Todd and Julie-who served time in federal prison for fraud convictions until their May 2025 pardons -were originally hesitant about joining the cast of The Masked Singer for season 14, especially Julie. “I was a little bit apprehensive,” the 53-year-old told E!. “Just because I am not a singer at all. It is completely out of my wheelhouse.” “Todd, on the other hand, is a great singer,” Julie added. “He has performed. He did a song with Sarah Evans years ago.
