Claudia Jessie Teases That Bridgerton Fans âWill Be Really Happy This Seasonâ
Claudia Jessie doesnât do this a lot. And by âthisâ I mean star in flashy luxury campaigns to model shiny jewelry. When she Zooms in from Birmingham, England, sheâs cozy in sweats and oversized glasses, looking out her window to the snowy streets below. âIt's not really, hugely my thing,â she says of getting dolled up for photoshoots. But when Pandora proposed a special collaboration with Bridgerton , the show in which she has starred since 2020- and the campaign would feature her and her co-star Hannah Dodd-Jessie knew it was a fit. And now, here she is in the images, shot by Tim Walker and styled by Harry Lambert, looking like a natural. Pandora and Bridgerton âs 14-piece jewelry collection is clearly inspired by the Netflix seriesâ playful, vibrant reimagining of Regency-era England. Called âRules to Love By,â the selection includes necklaces, earrings, rings, and charms accented with flowers, pearls, bows, lilac wisteria, and, of course, bees (a Bridgerton family symbol, as their late father died from a lethal sting). The pieces feature 100-percent recycled sterling silver and 14k gold plating, too. One item, a blue bow necklace, even appears in the new season, which premieres on January 29. Jessieâs Bridgerton character, Eloise, is not too different from the actress herself; becoming a debutante and looking for a husband isnât really her thing. As weâve seen throughout the show-and will continue to see in season 4-Eloise turns her nose up at the marriage mart and would rather be reading a book than attending a ball. But her time in the spotlight is on the horizon. Although Jessie hasnât confirmed whether sheâll be the leading lady in the showâs upcoming seasons 5 or 6, showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that an Eloise-centric storyline is on the way when she wore pocket squares embroidered with the letters âEâ and âFâ to the season 4 premiere last night. âBoth characters with the initials on my pocket squares will get seasons in 5 and 6,â Brownell told Deadline . (The âFâ stands for Francesca, Doddâs character.) âIn what order? I canât say.â While you wait for the new season, you can shop the Pandora collection, which is available online now. Below, ELLE chats with Jessie about Bridgerton season 4, welcoming newcomer Yerin Ha , and whatâs next for Eloise. Itâs very exciting to start off the new year with this Pandora campaign. How did you find out you were going to be involved? I found out about it last year. And I donât do campaigns; Iâve never done one before. I hadnât planned on doing any. But I remember when Bridgerton âs incredible costume designer, John [Glaser], who is a wonderful man, said that when he met the team from Pandora and they came into where we make all the costumes at work, he was really touched by how enthusiastic the team was and how thrilled they were to see the Bridgerton costumes. He just said it was such a lovely experience meeting them....
