NTR District tops A.P. in ‘Speed of Doing’ in governance and service delivery
NTR District has bagged the first rank in Andhra Pradesh in ‘Speed of Doing’ in governance and service delivery by securing 83 points out of 315 Key Progress Indicators (KPIs). During the 4th District Review Committee (DRC) meeting held on Friday, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav congratulated NTR District Collector G. Laskhsmisha. He said the district has achieved Plus (Achiever) grade, maintaining the ‘Speed of Doing’ in governance and service delivery, in line with the ‘Swarnandhra @ 2047 goals’. The Minister highlighted establishing MSME parks in every constituency and small industrial parks in each mandal. Of the targeted 1,600 MSME registrations in 2025-26 fiscal year, the process have been completed for 1,121. Health initiatives focus on Ayushman health centres, digital records, person-centric services, nephrology, and PM-ABHIM implementation. The District GDDP reached ₹94,561 crore in 2024-25, with a 2025-26 target of ₹1,12,148 crore. Innovative law and order measures, including OTP scam awareness, traffic management via the Actionable Intelligence for Sustainable Traffic Management (ASTRAM) app, anti-narcotics drives, and record compensation for hit-and-run cases, were also discussed. MLAs Sriram Rajgopal Tatiyya, Yarlagadda Venkat Rao, Mondithoka Arun Kumar, Ruhulla, Joint Collector S. Elakkiya, Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner Dhyanachandra HM, and other senior officials were present.
