Heritage walk in Changanassery - The Hindu

‘Old Changanassery Heritage Walk,’ being organised jointly by the DHARINNI Ecology and Heritage conservation trust and Kerala Pradeshika Charithra Padana Samithi, will be held on Saturday. The walk will begin at 7.30 a.m. from Puzhavathu Vettadikkavu in Changanassery, Kottayam. The route will cover Kumaramanagalathu Mana, Lakshmipuram Palace, Santhana Gopalamurthy Temple, Ittiyamadom, Menon Veedu, Kavil Bhagavathi Temple, Chitrakkulam, Old Juma Masjid, St. Mary’s Metropolitan Church, Angadi and will conclude at Anchu Vilakku. These locations have been curated to reflect the history of Changanassery, with emphasis on the era of the erstwhile Thekkumkoor kingdom. For further details, contact: 9605645482.
