There's plenty of great TV to enjoy this St Stephen's Day, from a Westlife musical special, to a legendary Irish director on Keys To My Life and the latest batch of episodes from the final season of Netflix's Stranger Things. Westlife 25 at The Royal Albert Hall, 7.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player Watch Westlife perform at The Royal Albert Hall in this television special Jim Sheridan appears in an hour-long Keys To My Life special Cillian Murphy puts in an Oscar-winning turn in Oppenheimer Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jole Dommett, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross A documentary chronicles George Best and his time with Cork Celtic David Harbour as Jim Hopper and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in Stranger Things Westlife 25 at The Royal Albert Hall, RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, 6.30pm In this television special, Westlife fans can see the iconic Irish boyband perform at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London as they celebrate 25 years together. The pop group will take fans on a nostalgic journey through their greatest hits, timeless ballads, and unforgettable moments that have defined their remarkable career. It promises to be an evening filled with emotion, music, and memories as Westlife mark their legacy and the fans who have supported them every step of the way. Keys To My Life, RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, 8pm Keys To My Life returns to screens this St Stephen's Day for a special hour-long episode featuring legendary Irish director Jim Sheridan. From his childhood home in a boarding house off Dublin's Sheriff Street, to the multi-million euro architectural wonder he built cantilevered over the Irish Sea in Dalkey, Sheridan tells the story of his life through the places he has lived. Accompanied by Keys To My Life presenter Brendan Courtney, his journey takes in his first married home in Ballybough - to the tenement rooms in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen where Sheridan and his young family landed penniless in the early 80’s. Success brought ever larger houses in ever more affluent neighbourhoods, but those 'trophy' homes came at a huge personal cost. Oppenheimer, RTÉ One, 9.20pm Here's a chance to see Christopher Nolan's acclaimed epic Oppenheimer on the small screen, as Irish actor Cillian Murphy delivers an Oscar-winning turn as American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, capturing the intensity and inner turmoil of a man who changed history. The film is boosted by the strongest of support from Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr as two key players in Oppenheimer's story: Major General Leslie Groves, the director of the top-secret Manhattan Project to build the bomb; and Lewis Strauss, the boss of the US Atomic Energy Commission, respectively. An every-second-counts energy courses through scenes involving science, morality and political power plays, with the audience in constant suspense.
