Dear readers: Let us know what you’d like to see more of on Ars

By Ken FisherStaff – Ars Technica

Since 1998, Ars has covered desktop computing, IT, gaming, and personal gadgets. Over the years, the remit has broadened to increase focus on science, space, policy, culture, automobiles, AI, and more. You can expect our coverage in those areas to continue, but it’s important for Ars to ensure our editors stay on top of what our readers are most interested in. As we plan our approach for the coming months, we’d like to hear from you about what you’d like to see more of at Ars. For example, do you want to see more focus on reviews of consumer technology? Is there a hunger for closer coverage of applications, toolkits, and issues relevant to professional software developers? Should we invest more effort in covering the latest AAA games on Steam? Are Ars readers excited to read more about 3D printing or drones? Those are just a few examples, but we’d like to hear your ideas, whether they’re blue sky ideas for things we haven’t previously tracked at all, or just, “I’d love to see even more of [this].” For this informal survey, let us know in the comments on this article about what coverage areas you’d like to see us expand when and if we have the opportunity. We have to consider many factors when deciding how to invest our resources, but our community’s interest is the biggest.
