Anderson .Paak Reveals Directorial Debut
It feels like Anderson .Paak can do it all musically - now it’s time to find out if that applies to the movies. The artist/filmmaker is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut K-Pops! , which has released a new trailer in advance of its theatrical premiere this February. According to the film’s official synopsis, “ K-Pops! follows a washed-up musician who attempts to reinvigorate his career by joining the house band of a K-Pop competition show in Seoul, only to discover that his long lost son is one of the contestants vying to be the world’s next superstar.” .Paak also co-wrote and stars in the film, alongside Jee Young Han, Jonnie “Dumbfounded” Park, Soul Rasheed, Cathy Shim, Kevin Woo, Will Jay, Emi Kim, Riley Lai Nelet, Eddie Park, and Yvette Nicole Brown .
