A SOMALI migrant wanted in the UK for ârepeatedly rapingâ his teenage stepsister has been arrested after stepping off a plane. Cops nicked the 26-year-old suspect - a Dutch national born in Somalia - just moments after he landed in Germany. He had been wanted by the UK on an international arrest warrant since December 2023. German federal police said in a statement: âBased on a search notice, officers of the Federal Police arrested a 26-year-old Dutch citizen at Frankfurt am Main Airport.â The police statement added: âHe is accused of having repeatedly raped his 13-year-old stepsister in 2020.â He is alleged to have committed the offences while living in the UK. Read More World News The suspect landed in Germany on a long haul flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the time of arrest. The police statement continued: âHe was subsequently brought before the competent custody judge in Frankfurt am Main.â The man, whose name was not revealed, was taken into custody at the airport as investigations continue. Because he has the right to contest extradition, the transfer to UK authorities could take between 10 and 60 days. Earlier this month, Afghan migrant Abid Sherzad was found guilty of sexual assaulting a woman who fell asleep while eating pizza after an night out.
