'Donald Trump pulled out of huge Iran attack over fears - but it's not over yet' "Once again US President Donald Trump has put the entire world on edge with plans to launch a massive attack on Iran, before pulling it because he feared it might not work - but attack can still happen" It seems US President Donald Trump pulled strike plans on Iran overnight after being told the objective would likely not be achieved from the attack. That is not to say that an attack is no longer going to happen - it may have just been put on hold pending reliable intelligence updates from within Iran. With his bellicose threats towards the regime he has had the world’s attention and once he has achieved that he often seems to lose interest. Sources are saying much of the footage coming out of Tehran is 24 hours old so getting real-time information on the protests is also difficult. We still do not know if the protests have run out of steam, even though it is clear the regime must be looking at an uncertain future.
