Tyler Perry Sued AGAIN - For SO Many Millions! OMG! - Perez Hilton
[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Tyler Perry has been sued for sexual assault again. As we previously reported, The Oval actor Derek Dixon filed a $260 million lawsuit against the 56-year-old director in June, accusing him of assault and harassment. Now, another model and actor is coming forward with more disturbing allegations - and seeking millions from Perry! According to People on Friday, Mario Rodriguez , who had a minor role in the filmmaker’s 2016 movie Boo! A Madea Halloween , claimed in a new lawsuit that Perry sexually assaulted him and made unwanted sexual advances all while promising him roles. The outlet reported that he alleged a trainer approached him while at a gym in Los Angeles in 2015 to say Perry wanted to meet him. Rodriguez said the screenwriter soon spoke to him on the phone and offered him a small part, “Frat Guy #10,” in the Madea Halloween film. The complaint claimed Perry invited Rodriguez to his home multiple times under the guise of discussing future projects for him, but he made sexual advances while drinking instead. In November 2018, Perry allegedly “grabbed [Rodriguez’s] penis” and the model “repeatedly told Mr. Perry to stop. Rodriguez claimed when the Gone Girl star didn’t, he had to “physically struggle to get away.” Perry allegedly told Rodriguez to “let it happen” and “if you were to just be with me, I would take care of you....” Jeez. Following the two incidents, Rodriguez claimed Perry apologized, handed him $5,000, and “sent him away.” The final alleged encounter happened in April 219. The lawsuit stated: “More than ever before, it was clear that Mr. Perry would do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, to whomever he wanted no matter how many times he was rejected.” Rodriguez claimed Perry went on to “randomly reach out to” him in 2024, and “when Perry became aware that Rodriguez was going to file this action, Perry once again reached out to Rodriguez by text” to say he “did so much to help Rodriguez” and he “was feeling betrayed.” Rodriguez is being represented by attorney Jonathan J. Delshad , who also represented Dixon. He is seeking $77 million in damages. Rodriguez first came forward with the allegations in a December 13 Instagram video - though he did not mention Perry by name. He just referenced him as a “powerful” director “that everybody knows,” adding: “I stayed quiet for much too long. And I just want to say I’m really sorry, man. Because if I would’ve spoken up sooner I could’ve saved somebody that this probably happened to after me. I just wanna say sorry for that, whoever that may be. It could’ve stopped with me if I would’ve said something. ... But I’m speaking up now.” It’s awful what allegedly happened to him. Watch the entire video HERE . Perry’s attorney, Alex Spiro...
