Kate Gosselin has a major update on her leg injury. Three months ago, the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum was hospitalized for a “life-altering” injury to her leg after her dog Meika ran “full-speed ahead” into her, resulting in a tibial plateau fracture. In the video, she tests the water with crutches and hand railings, but ultimately shares the exciting news that she’s clear to get back up on her feet in moderation: “The answer is yes. I’m allowed to walk. I have to start at 25 percent, the 50 percent, then 75 percent, 100 percent. On Tuesday, Kate returned to TikTok to announce the sudden death of her other dog Nanuq. In a somber video of the German Shepherd, she shared: “We suffered an unimaginable loss on Friday night. My soul girl, the rest of me passed away quickly in the car on our way home from our Christmas. I am taking a break from tik tok because I am hurting so deeply. But I know you guys loved her too so I needed to let you know.” She added in her caption: “I have no words. One minute she was here and healthy. The next, she was gone. Her last gift to me, was when she got into the truck to leave, she poked her head forward to where I was sitting in the passenger seat and gently licked my left cheek, twice. I’m trying to replace the traumatic memories and things I can never unsee with that memory. My sweet girl kissing me, saying ‘thankyou for taking me on this ‘long bye bye’, which was her favorite thing in the world. Then, a little over 3 hours later, she was gone.
