Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Charity Down To Just 2 Staff Members: 'It's All Smoke And Mirrors'
Grab your popcorn because the Sussex saga just keeps writing itself. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again trying to spin a narrative about visionary philanthropy, but behind the scenes it sounds a whole lot messier. According to insiders over the weekend, the couple’s Archewell charity operation has quietly been slashed down to just two staffers, all while they trumpet a shiny new rebrand meant to suggest big things ahead. Sources spoke to Page Six on Monday about what they say was the reason for the dramatic downsizing, and it’s far less glamorous than the press releases make it seem. It’s all about money , honey ! That insider went on to cut straight through the PR fog with brutal honesty: “Really, it’s all smoke and mirrors.” OUCH!!! Page Six also confirmed three staff members were indeed let go - representing a whopping 60% of the charity’s workforce. Only Executive Director James Holt (who has been with Harry since his royal days in the UK) and VP of Philanthropy Shauna Nep are sticking around for the newly branded operation. That’s not exactly the bustling philanthropic empire the Sussexes often imply they’re running.
