Harry Styles Announces 4th Album After Hiatus
Harry Styles is putting out some new music for a sushi restaurant-or music for whatever you want. After a nearly three-year hiatus following the success of his Love On Tour, the One Direction alum announced his fourth studio album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally , Jan. 15, set to release March 6. Alongside the announcement, the 31-year-old shared the cover, which features a picture of himself outside wearing blue jeans and a blue T-shirt and putting on a pair of sunglasses. As a nod to the album title, a disco ball with a studio light shining on it hangs above him. The title of the album is placed to the right, against an all black background, in blue and pink ink (a possible nod toward his Fine Line era, as it used the same color palette.) The “Golden” singer’s official announcement comes less than a month after he shared a cryptic video to his YouTube channel with an eight-minute video dubbed “Forever, Forever.” The footage saw fans waiting outside RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy, for one of the last shows of his tour, theorizing about what the evening had in store. And just one day before the announcement, Harry’s team sent voice notes out to fans who signed up for his online community that included a snippet of him singing-without any backing track, “We belong together.” Harry’s much-anticipated return to music has followed several years of living low-key. Although the Grammy winner confirmed a romance with Zoe Kravitz in September with a slew of public outings, he has otherwise maintained an extremely low profile. Indeed, the “As It Was” singer was on a slew of what was deemed by his fans as “random side quests” in the last year, popping up sparingly to run the Tokyo Marathon in March , the Berlin Marathon in September and to see the conclave election of Pope Leo XIV in Vatican City in May.
