This case makes your iPhone feel caseless [Hands-on]

Over the years, I have tried 100s of iPhone cases, from rugged cases to leather cases, clear cases, and multifunctional wallet cases. And while these cases have their time and place, I always come back to the same type of case as my favorite: thin iPhone cases. There is just something about keeping the iPhone feeling like an iPhone that makes it enjoyable to use long-term. So when I saw Moft was releasing their new Movas Frame case, I had to give it a try. It was designed to be slim, light, and minimal while still adding protection. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and here is what you should know. Moft has leaned heavily into the idea that this case should feel as close as possible to not using a case at all, while still being able to give you the benefits of having a Magsafe case. Moft was able to do this exceptionally well. It strikes a balance between feeling your phone and having peace of mind, knowing that if it does take a hard drop, it will survive. The case was also designed to work alongside Moft’s ecosystem of Magsafe products like their stand, wallet , and quick-release lanyard. My thoughts As I mentioned, I’ve been using this case for about two weeks now, and I love it. It is simple, yet unique. It can protect my iPhone 17 Pro from large drops onto concrete thanks to its TPU corners, all while still being fashionable. They have also added enough of a lip to the case so that when your phone is face down, the display does not touch the surface. Also, due to the material choices, the case feels both rigid while being able to bend slightly, which helps with the longevity of the case. The open-edge design is what really sets this apart. Instead of button covers and camera control cutouts, they just left both sides completely exposed. I really like this. In day-to-day use, it makes it feel like you don’t really have a case on. You get easier, more tactile access to all your buttons, like the volume, action, and others. In terms of protection on the sides, of course, you are more susceptible to some scuffs and scratches, but when it comes to drops, the corners act as another lip. So if you place the case down on its side, the actual phone will not touch any surface. Overall, I think this case does a great job of walking that line between protection, slimness, and aesthetics.
