Bigg Boss 18's Shrutika Arjun On Shifting From Films To Reality Shows: 'Wouldn’t Call Them Easy Either' Shrutika Arjun is known for films like Sri, Nala Damayanthi, Thithikudhe, and Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam. Shrutika Arjun, known for her lively personality and infectious energy, has opened up about shifting from films to television reality shows. Recently, the actress talked about the contrast between scripted acting and being herself on camera round the clock in reality shows. She explained that while reality shows aren’t ’emotionally hard’, they are not even easy. “For me, reality shows never felt emotionally hard because being myself comes naturally. However, I wouldn’t call them easy either. The working hours are intense, we’re on the floor continuously, sometimes shooting for 15-16 hours a day without proper breaks, and at times even filming two episodes in a single day," she said. Recommended Stories “Unlike film sets, where you get breaks when it’s not your shot, reality shows demand constant presence and energy. That said, I genuinely enjoy it. Films require switching into a character, following a script, and aligning with a director’s vision, which is a different kind of challenge and honestly, I’m still exploring that space. But despite the hard work involved here, I’m enjoying the process because I’m a bit of a workaholic, and being busy keeps me motivated," Shrutika added. Reality shows often magnify every action, turning even small mistakes into defining moments. Shrutika’s approach to this has been refreshingly honest and fearless. Opening up about how this difference affected her personally, she shares, “It honestly didn’t bother me. Everyone has flaws and everyone also has positives I have mine too. So if something becomes a moment on a reality show, it’s okay. That’s real life. I’ve never felt the need to hide anything. Accepting myself the way I am has kept me very grounded, and I think the audience appreciates that honesty." From making a mark at a very young age in South Indian cinema to winning hearts with her entertaining and authentic presence on Bigg Boss 18, Shrutika’s journey has been anything but ordinary. She began her acting career early, featuring in notable films like Sri, Nala Damayanthi, Thithikudhe, and Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam, showcasing her talent and screen presence long before reality television entered her life.
