'GTA Online' User-Created Charlie Kirk Kill Missions Removed, Banned Charlie Kirk User-Missions Depicting Assassination Yanked by 'GTA' Charlie Kirk 's assassination inspired some sick users to create online missions depicting the in "Grand Theft Auto Online" ... but, the game's parent company says the scenarios are now banned. tragic shooting Here's the deal ... videos surfaced on social media recently showing a mission titled "We Are Charlie Kirk" where the player grabs a sniper rifle and shoots an NPC standing under a canopy on the University of San Andreas, Los Santos campus. It's meant to parody Charlie's appearance at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT, back in September ... when he was shot and killed. We reached out to Rockstar -- the company that owns and runs 'GTA' -- and they say the missions imitating the horrible tragedy started cropping up shortly after a new online user feature was released. These missions were reported to the trust and safety team and were deleted quickly, we're told. However, the company says recordings are going around now after some users recently noticed "Charlie Kirk" was added to the online profanity list for Rockstar ... which is more of a filter to stop people from mimicking horrific real-world events. As you know ... Kirk's shooting was a traumatic moment for many ... especially to people on the right side of the aisle. A Reuters report, released in November, revealed 600 people were fired, suspended, or placed on leave from their jobs for posting about Kirk in the aftermath of his death. Unclear if these social media users plan to track down whoever created these missions ... but, Rockstar's made it clear it's unacceptable.
