‘Ted’ Red Band Season 2 Trailer: The Foul-Mouthed Teddy Bear & His Buddy John Are Back For Their Senior Year In High School
Peacock has dropped the official red band trailer for Season 2 of Seth MacFarlane ‘s Ted (appropriately red band for the foul-mouthed teddy bear). ‘Ted’ – (l-r) Giorgia Whigham as Blaire, Alanna Ubach as Susan, Scott Grimes as Matty, Max Burkholder as JohnJustin Lubin/Peacock The Ted series is set in the ’90s when Ted the bear’s (MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, MA, with his best friend, 17-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and frequently clashes with his liberal niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives. Season 2 takes us to 1994, with the duo’s senior year of high school underway. John is frustrated he’ll graduate without ever having had a girlfriend and Ted does his best to (unsuccessfully) help the situation as chaos ensues. Watch on Deadline MacFarlane serves as writer, director, co-showrunner along with executive producers, writers and co-showrunners Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh. Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, Aimee Carlson (Fuzzy Door) also executive produce. Ted is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door, and MRC. Ted Season 2 premieres Thursday, March 5 on Peacock. Check out the trailer above and see additional Season 2 photos below.
