Hyderabad Traffic Home Guard killed in Attapur accident

A traffic police home guard was killed in a road accident on the Attapur road on Tuesday (December 23, 2025) afternoon, while returning home from his duty. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Syed Abdul Sattar, attached to the Tolichowki Traffic Police Station. Police said Sattar was riding his motorcycle towards Attapur when a goods carrier rammed into his vehicle from behind near pillar number 192 of the P. V. Narasimha Rao (PVNR) Expressway . The impact threw him off the two-wheeler, and he sustained serious injuries, leading to his death on the spot, police said. According to the Tolichowki Traffic Inspector, G. Venkateshwarlu, Sattar had reported for duty in the early hours of Tuesday and worked the morning shift from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Banjara Darwaza before leaving for home in the afternoon. Sattar had been serving with the Tolichowki traffic police since 2021. He is survived by his wife and four children, including two daughters and two sons.
