
âHis & Hersâ Author Alice Feeneyâs Latest Novel Optioned By âAll Her Faultâ Maker Carnival
EXCLUSIVE: All Her Fault producer Carnival Films has landed on its next big domestic thriller. Carnival is making a TV series adaptation with Three Pinesâ Emilia di Girolamo of Alice Feeney âs novel My Husbandâs Wife, which publishes in five daysâ time. Feeney is the author of His & Hers, which is currently topping Netflix charts around the world via an adaptation starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson. My Husbandâs Wife centers on Eden Fox, an artist on the brink of her big break, whose world is turned upside down when she returns home to find another woman living in her house claiming to be married to her husband. Told across dual timelines, the story unravels as secrets surface, identities blur, and the consequences of deception, obsession and revenge come into focus. Casting is not yet set and Carnival will soon take out to buyers. Carnival, the Universal International Studios (UIS) scripted development team, and Universal Studio Groupâs Creative Acquisitions and IP team, led by Jordan Moblo, partnered to identify and secure the rights to the novel. Carnival is owned by UIS. Feeney has written eight novels. The adaptation of her glossy novel His & Hers launched on Netflix last week as domestic thrillers remain in vogue. Feeneyâs novel Rock Paper Scissors is also in the works with Netflix and The Crown producer Suzanne Mackie. Di Girolamo is attached to adapt My Husbandâs Wife while Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant will serve as executive producers for Carnival.
