Boley, 40, is reportedly facing charges unrelated to the missing person case, including unlawful manufacturing of a destructive device or bacteriological or biological weapon. Authorities have said that while the devices were not explosive, the children still "had the opportunity" to be exposed to methamphetamines. John-John and his brother were visiting their dad in Alabama from Florida, where they lived with their mother Angel. They were due to return home to her on 1 January.
