The final days of 2025 are upon us, and with them come the last set of trading holidays now that the Christmas break is in the rear-view mirror. Stock traders have a full day on New Year's Eve, but bond trading ends at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Both stock and bond markets are closed on Jan. 1, 2026, for New Year's Day. Those will be the last adjustments to regular trading before Monday, Jan. 19, when both stock and bond markets will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
