A woman was allegedly sexually harassed by a 45-year-old man at Majestic Metro station in Bengaluru, police said. According to the complaint, the incident occurred within the Metro station premises, after which the woman alerted Metro security personnel. The woman accused the man of acting indecently and touching her private parts. Police said the woman alleged that the man’s alleged indecent behaviour, prompted her to confront him at the spot. She reportedly reprimanded him strongly for his actions. Following the confrontation, the accused allegedly began apologising to those present, seeking forgiveness. The woman has provided detailed information regarding the incident to the police. Officials said the case has been registered under provisions related to inappropriate and obscene behaviour, and further action will be taken based on the outcome of the inquiry.
