IIT Delhi to name its exhibition hall after Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal

Binny Bansal, 43, received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2005. | Photo Credit: File Photo The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Friday announced that it would name its exhibition hall at its main campus as the ‘Binny Bansal Exhibition Hall’, in honour of its alumnus Binny Bansal, co-founder of the Indian online retail giant Flipkart. On the recommendation of the naming committee, the board for educational and research planning (BERP) has approved the proposal to name the exhibition hall, located on the ground floor of the main building, Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi, said at an Alumni meet held in Singapore.
