Kerala CPI(M) leader P.K. Sreemathi reports theft of bag during train journey to Bihar

Belongings, including cash and identifcation documents, of CPI(M) Central Committee member and All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) leader P.K. Sreemathi had been reportedly stolen during a train journey to Bihar. The theft occurred while the former Kerala Minister was travelling from Kolkata to Samastipur to attend an AIDWA conference. Her bag containing a mobile phone, cash and identity cards was stolen, resulting in an estimated loss of about ₹40,000, she said. A complaint has been lodged with the Dalsinghsarai railway police.
