Bigme B751C S color e-reader is now available
Bigme has unveiled a new e-reader featuring a color E Ink display specifically for the Chinese market. This new device is marketed as the Bigme B751C S, and while it resembles the Bigme B7 and Bigme B7 Pro, it has several significant distinctions. Additionally, it appears to be an enhancement over the Bigme B751C. The Bigme B751C S features a 7-inch Kaleido 3 E Ink display with 300 ppi in monochrome mode and 150 ppi in color. Product images indicate that the display is flush with the bezels rather than recessed. Furthermore, there are page-turn buttons on the left side, and with the integrated gyroscope, users can operate the e-reader in any orientation. According to Bigme, the B751C S is compatible with a stylus that features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. However, it appears the stylus must be purchased separately and is not included with the purchase. Under the hood is an octa-core processor powering the Bigme B751C S, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can expand their storage capacity by up to 1TB via a TF card slot. The Bigme B751C S includes Bluetooth 5.0, a single microphone, a single speaker, and dual-band Wi-Fi. However, it lacks LTE support, unlike the Bigme B7 and Bigme B7 Pro. Additionally, it lacks a camera, unlike the B7 series. This device has just launched in China and comes with Google Android 14, but lacks Google Play in that market. It just hit Amazon in Germany, but it is not available internationally yet. Michael Kozlowski has written about audiobooks, e-books and e-readers for the past eighteen years.
