Speaking at the launch of medical services by Vijaya Medical Centre, Mr. Vikramarka said the government was moving forward with a clear objective of ensuring dignity and well-being for all citizens. Welcoming the decision to establish diagnostic centres in second-tier cities and rural areas, the Deputy Chief Minister urged the Centre to organise free medical camps in rural regions and offer comprehensive diagnostic tests. He assured that the State government would extend all necessary support to such initiatives. Stressing the need to expand quality diagnostic facilities beyond Hyderabad, Mr. Vikramarka said diagnostics play a vital role between health and disease, and between prevention and treatment. With advanced diagnostic services reaching districts such as Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam and Nizamabad, he said that both the financial and mental burden on people would be significantly reduced. Distance in healthcare, he added, is measured not just in kilometres but in anxiety, delays and costs. Published - December 22, 2025 07:43 pm IST
